Baluch rug made in Afghanistan in 1900.
Here is a good solid Baluch rug from 1900 with a happy light design and palette and an unusual star border. The rug is complete with goat hair selvedges and kilim ends. The pile is good with some low areas (see photos). The wool quality is excellent and there is a surprising number of natural colors interwoven in this rug.
